Hello everyone and welcome to my website. Hey, check out this image attached to my post. My son who lived in Japan on and off for twenty years took this photo of a bar in Sendai, Japan. From what he told me the owner was friendly and the drinks were great. Since the owner and I share a namesake, I thought it fitting to use this image as a way to toast a new beginning. Given rum’s borderline medicinal qualities, I’d like to think of this corner of the internet as my pharmacy where I dispense a bit of medicine for the soul in the form of random musings and helpful tips.
