The artist was inspired to create this design after seeing the petroglyphs in the caves and cliff dwellings of historic Native American sites in Arizona. These images painted on rocks and scratched into the soft sandstone still speak to us today according to the artist. They tell a story of a people and their mythologies. Rock art is a physical reminder of a time when foretelling the future and fertility rites were a vital part of everyday existence. The artisans who told their stories visually during that time, preserved a record of their existence for us to acknowledge and honor centuries later.

Each wrap is made with finely textured, artist-grade cotton substrate which helps reproduce your image in outstanding clarity and detail. Available in multiple sizes, these closed back canvases are built with a patented, solid support face and are excellent for indoor use.
